Die-Cutting and Dispensing Are Different Tasks

The HM50-M die-cuts kraft paper. Expansion, dispensing and product wrapping are subsequent steps. Review those steps separately when specifying a complete packing station.

Plan the Complete Packing Station

For in-house wrapping, consider how operators will move the die-cut paper from the machine to the packing table. The example below shows the HM50-M with separate downstream equipment.

FAQ

Key points to confirm when specifying an HM50-M for your operation.

Does the HM50-M make honeycomb paper or only dispense it?

The HM50-M is a honeycomb paper making machine that die-cuts kraft paper rolls to create expandable paper for protective wrapping. A honeycomb paper dispenser handles paper that has already been cut. Expansion and product wrapping follow the die-cutting stage.

What paper can the machine process?

The supplied specifications list a paper width of 200–500 mm, a paper weight of up to 80 gsm, a maximum roll diameter of 500 mm and a 75 mm core inner diameter. Submit your intended paper specification for review.

Is the separate feeder and packing table included?

The workstation image is a configuration example. Confirm the machine, downstream equipment, accessories and installation scope in the quotation.

Which electrical configuration should I specify?

Provide the installation country, supply voltage and frequency. The supplied documents list different electrical ranges, so the final configuration must be confirmed before ordering.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Provide the destination country, quantity, paper width and gsm, roll dimensions, required output and intended wrapping workflow. Include any distributor or branding requirements for review.
